On Wednesday, December 31 at approximately 9:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m., MAX Blue and Red lines may be experiencing about 15 minute delays near Pioneer Square South and Morrison St/SW 3rd Ave due to the NYE Drone Show.
Effective Dec. 31, 2025 On Wednesday, December 31, TriMet Customer Support Center at Pioneer Courthouse Square and TriMet Customer Service at 238-RIDE will be closing early at 2:00 p.m. They will be closed New Year's Day and resume regular hours on Friday, January 2.
Effective Dec. 31, 2025 All rides on TriMet buses, MAX and Portland Streetcar will be free after 8:00 p.m. on New Year's Eve. MAX Blue, Green, Orange and Yellow lines will also provide extended late-night service, running approximately every 30 minutes until about 3:00 a.m. And on New Year's Day, buses, MAX and Portland Streetcar will all run on Sunday schedules. Bus lines that normally do not run on Sundays will not be in service. WES Commuter Rail will not be in service. More
- The trip to/from downtown Portland takes about 40 minutes and costs $2.80 for Adults 18–64, $1.40 for Honored Citizens and $1.40 for Youth.
- The first train of the day to Portland International Airport arrives at 4:43 a.m. on weekdays and at 4:46 a.m. on Saturday & Sunday.
- The last train to Hillsboro Airport/Fairgrounds departs PDX 10:57 p.m. on weekdays and 11:27 p.m. on Saturday & Sunday.
- The last train to Willow Creek Transit Center departs PDX at 12:27 a.m. on weekdays and 12:27 a.m. on Saturday & Sunday.
- The MAX station and ticket machines are located near baggage claim on the lower level. View airport map (flypdx.com)
- Parking at TriMet Park & Ride lots is limited to 24 hours. For longer trips, have someone drop you off at a MAX station. Park & Ride locations
- You can easily roll your luggage on board.
